WARNING: Foot support is important for safe feeding posture. However, footrests inherently make it easier for children to push themselves up and out of the seat. Therefore, the footrest should be used with the child’s safety harness fastened tight. Do not leave your child unattended in the highchair.
Wood naturally varies in hue, saturation and darkness; therefore, these same variances may occur in our footrests. For this reason, some footrests might not be an exact match with our vinyl leg wraps. Footrests may also have a seam where the color and grain vary.

Foot rest is a must for dangling feet. Less figeting and better eating! The cherry wood footrest is well designed and adjustable as baby grows. Solid wood.
The footrest does not stay in place. It is well made, but slips down and even fell off.

Update: I just wanted to take the time to review the amazing customer service. Originally one side of our footrest was sliding down and baby would then gets his foot stuck underneath the footrest. Customer service was able to provide quick troubleshooting and sent us new o-rings to resolve our issue. So happy to support a small business that helps also support their customers and cares about the quality of their products!
I love the footrest, especially that it's adjustable, and my 7-month old grandson just fits the highest adjustment. This is the perfect addition to the IKEA high chair.
